i last updated at the start of the week.
so it's de weekend. yeay..
been busy and caught up with meetings,
meetings and more meetings.

so had my final meeting for the yr,
(hopefully, because i wanna enjoy my new yr's eve)
and am glad tt it's friday,
which means = date with Is. finally.
altho last nite i did drag him out aft work
for 2 hrs to get some stuff.

there's saturday, sunday and monday before the new yr.
i'm prolly gonna talk abt how my 2007 was
either tmr or on sunday.

but for today, resolution.
usually my list comes up to a whole lot.
this yr is much compact, simple
and much more achievable, insyaAllah.
i've got only 2 agendas.

first, and the most important,
is to try to envy others less, and
appreciate myself more.
i think ppl generally tend
to compare themselves against everyone,
and even everything.
who is smarter, better, faster, prettier
and even to the downright ridiculous things.
we get so caught up and spend so much
energy doing tt that we sometimes
change or do things only as a reply
or a feel-gd way to get over our envy.
not tt it is necessary a bad thing,
but i think if i can get to make myself
think of everyone as different
and a unique individual,
then there really is no way tt we can compare,
because we are all wired differently,
live in different environment and amongst
different ppl, and have different set of genes.
so the only way to compare (if there is a real need),
is to do so with ourselves.
so tt we can grow, have more awareness abt wad we do,
and who we might have hurt/impacted in the process.
so yes,
need to stop comparing, and envying, and
start living!

secondly, i promised myself to be a better
person with all the hats tt i am/will be wearing
- a muslim, a daughter, a sister, a gf, a worker and a future wife.

so i will be better at work 9-5. (worker)
so i will clean, cook and help out more. (daughter)
i will learn to do things i have never done before
- like ANYTHING TO DO WITH CLOTHES [wash,iron,fold,sew] (future wife)
i will upgrade my religious knowledge (muslim)
i would not bring work (mentally) when i am out with Is. (gf)
i will motivate my siblings to do the best they possibly can. (sister)

=) and i am all set for 2008.
